Contenuti | Il corso intende fornire le conoscenze utili per comprendere le basi teoriche e applicate dell'econometria. Attraverso lo studio di queste tematiche lo studente sarà in grado di analizzare i rapporti causali dei fenomeni economici e di effettuare stime previsionali. |

Obiettivi formativi | L’insegnamento ha la finalità di introdurre gli studenti alle problematiche che si presentano quando si combinano i modelli economici con le osservazioni statistiche sulle variabili incluse in quei modelli, allo scopo di ottenere relazioni quantitative utilizzabili in analisi economiche strutturali, analisi di politica economica e a fini previsionali. |

Metodologie didattiche | - Lezioni frontali con coinvolgimento degli studenti; gli studenti sono invitati a partecipare alla discussione con autonomia di giudizio, esprimendo idee, formulando domande, presentando esempi. La suddetta modalità è da preferirsi dal punto di vista didattico perché impegna lo studente attivamente sin dalla partecipazione alla lezione frontale stimolando l’interazione e la riflessione. |
Metodi di valutazione | Durante il corso gli studenti sono tenuti a preparare alcune tesine scritte/compiti per casa che verranno discussi e corretti in aula. Tali attivita' sono parte integrante del programma d'esame. L’esame finale consiste in una verifica scritta sui contenuti teorici ed applicati del corso da cui sia possibile per il docente valutare il grado di comprensione, assimilazione e applicazione degli istituti approfonditi. |

Contents | The course aims to provide the knowledge useful to understand the theoretical and applied bases of econometrics. Through the study of these issues the student will be able to analyze the causal relationships of economic phenomena and to make forecast estimates. |

Course objectives | The course aims to introduce students to the problems that arise when economic models are combined with statistical observations on the variables included in those models, in order to obtain quantitative relationships that can be used in structural economic analysis, economic policy analysis and for forecast. |

Teaching methods | - Frontal lessons with student involvement; students are invited to participate in the discussion with independent judgment, expressing ideas, formulating questions, presenting examples. The aforementioned method is preferable from the didactic point of view because it actively engages the student right from the participation in the frontal lesson, stimulating interaction and reflection. |
Evaluation methods | During the course, students are required to prepare some written papers / homework that will be discussed and corrected in the classroom. These activities are an integral part of the exam program. The final exam consists of a written test on the theoretical and applied contents of the course from which it is possible for the teacher to assess the degree of understanding, assimilation and application of the in-depth institutes. |
