    Il corso coniugalo sviluppo di un livello intermedio di padronanza della lingua inglese (Livello B1 del Quadro Comune Europeo di Riferimento per le Lingue con l’acquisizione delle competenze linguistiche specialistiche fondamentali per operare nell’attuale mondo economico.

    More specifically, the students will:
    - develop an understanding of oral and written texts, in both paper and electronic formats, on topics related to the personal and social sphere.
    - produces linear and cohesive oral and written texts, in both paper and electronic formats, in the field of corporate finance and accounting; they analyze, rephrase and summarize simple texts on subjects belonging to their sector:
    - they take part in conversations and interact in discussions with native speakers, in a way appropriate to the context in different social and professional communicative situations; they write simple texts of personal and professional content.

    Prerequisiti

    Per poter studiare e seguire proficuamente le lezioni, costituisce prerequisito ideale la conoscenza dell’Inglese generale a livello A2 plus del Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.

    Lezioni frontali ma improntate alla interattività;
    Esercitazioni a gruppi;

    Metodi di valutazione

    Prova scritta e prova orale.
    Prova scritta: dell'abilità di lettura e comprensione di testi specialistici; capacità di dedurre significato di lessico specialistico dal suo contesto; capacità di scrittura di una tipologia di testo utilizzata nella business communication (eg. report, email, cover letter);
    Prova orale: rafforzamento dell'abilità di speaking e listening in ambito relazionale; competenza di interazione in una job interview simulata, capacità di lettura di grafici e tabelle in lingua inglese; competenza di descrizione di spot pubblicitari in lingua inglese seguendo specifici riferimenti teorici

    General Language Content: Grammar of B1 CEFR Level:

    Course objectives

    - acquisition of the ability to analyze the general contest where companies operate;
    2. applying knowledge and understanding
    - acquisition of the analytical and conceptual tools for interpreting and solving economic, managerial and organizational problems;

    - acquisition of economic knowledge and practical skills for analyzing the structure and functioning of companies;
    4. communicating knowledge and understanding
    - acquisition of the skills and tools for managing and communicating business-related information
    5. capacities to continue learning
    - development of the necessary learning capacities for the practical application of the knowledge and skills acquired during the course.
    More specifically, the students will:
    - develop an understanding of oral and written texts, in both paper and electronic formats, on topics regarding the personal and social sphere and to English for corporate finance and accounting.
    - produce linear and cohesive oral and written texts, in both paper and electronic formats, to refer facts and describe situations connected to personal experiences and in the specialized field of corporate finance and accounting.; they analyze, rephrase and summarise simple texts on topics belonging to their sector:
    - they take part in conversations and interact in discussions with native speakers, in a way appropriate to the context in different social and professional communicative situations; they write simple texts of personal and professional content.

    Prerequisites

    In order to successfully study and attend the course, a competence in English corresponding to the A2 level of the Common European Framework* is required.

    University lectures with interactive components;
    Workshop lessons;
    project work.

    Evaluation methods

    Written test;
    Oral interview.
    Passing the written test is a precondition to access the oral test.
