Access
The library is made up of students, lecturers and technical and administrative staff of the University, as well as of national and international universities and/or research institutions. Users are subject to booking and signing the entry register. To access the library's services, you must be registered as a "user". The form is available in the forms section or at headquarters. Please make reservations for access by 15:00 on the previous day. Reservations for Mondays must be made by 15:00 on Friday. Click here for instructions.
External persons will be able to access the services after registering as "users" of the library.

All services are suspended 15 minutes before the library closes.

Services
Reference and reception
The reference service offers information, instructions and guidance to the library's holdings or to the set of bibliographic and documentary resources available on various paper supports, on-line, on CD-ROM and in general resources available on the Internet. Consultation
For access to the catalogue and/or on-line bibliographic databases, the library provides 8 PC workstations. A maximum of 3 volumes or issues of journals per day can be requested for consultation.
It is forbidden to:
- make signs or write on books or cause damage of any kind to book and documentary material;
- stay in the reading rooms for purposes unrelated to study;
- violate the custom of silence in the reading room;
- smoking in any area of the library in compliance with current regulations and internal regulations;
- introduce scissors, glues, sharp objects;
- download or install any type of program on the library's PCs and browse the non-institutional sites of the University(s).
The use is closely linked to research and study activities.
You are allowed to:
- the use of laptops in the reading room, in compliance with the general rules of conduct;
- the use of personal texts for study purposes.
Loan
The loan service can be accessed by professors, researchers, doctoral students, experts in the subject, students and technical-administrative staff of the Department of Economics.
- Professors, researchers, PhD students and experts in the field cannot borrow more than 7 works at the same time;
- Students and technical-administrative staff no more than 3 works at the same time.
At the time of returning the book (after 15 days), the user can renew the loan if the text is not already booked by another user, for a further 15 days for each text. The user who returns the borrowed texts late loses the right to obtain further loans for a period of 1 month starting from the late return. A user who, after the repayment deadline has expired, also receives a written reminder for prompt repayment and persists in default for more than 5 days loses the right to obtain further loans for a period of 2 months.
The following are excluded from the loan:
- Rare and valuable works
- the volumes in a precarious state of preservation
- encyclopaedias, treatises, dictionaries, codices and collections of laws, bibliographical repertoires and in general all works of wide and widespread consultation
- Miscellaneous
- Periodicals unless authorized by the Library Manager
- non-library material (CD-ROM, audio, video and microforms) unless authorized by the Library Manager
The library declines all responsibility for shortages, losses, thefts, or damage to things left unattended.
Intersystemic Loan
Intersystemic Loan (ISS) is active with the other libraries of the University, subject to an internal agreement that guarantees the reciprocity of the service.
Document Delivery
Document Delivery (DD) is a service for the supply of documents within the limits imposed by current legislation on copyright (Law no. 633 of 22/04/1941 and subsequent amendments). The libraries of the (DD) service of the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli adhere to NILDE (Network Interlibrary Document Exchange), a cooperative system that allows you to request/provide documents respectively to external libraries and to internal library users. Photoreproduction
For the photoreproduction of Volumes/Texts and Periodicals of the Library, the user is required to comply with the current law on copyright: Law no. 633 of 22.04.1941, the subsequent amendments introduced by law 248/2000, and by Legislative Decree 68/2003 which set the maximum limit of reproduction at 15%.

- EDS: Ebsco Discovery Service is a discovery tool, which allows you to explore from a single search mask all the electronic resources including e-journals, full text databases, packages and e-books and the data of the Bibliographic heritage of the University present in the Catalog / Opac Sebina.
- Share Catalogue: platform that allows you to browse through a single search mask in the bibliographic catalogs of all the consortium universities: University of Naples Federico II, University of Basilicata, University of Sannio, University of Salerno, University of Naples Parthenope, University of Salento, University of Naples L'Orientale, University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli.

"Open Archives" are organized server-containers, where you can freely deposit your scientific works. These models, still in their infancy but already well anchored to a consolidated architecture within the network, are already at an advanced stage for certain disciplines. Databases and electronic resources
Databases are organized collections of information for different subject areas. This important bibliographic service is particularly useful for those who do research and therefore for teachers, scholarship holders, doctoral students and thesis students.
